We use an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, decolonizing, harm reduction, queer-positive, sex-positive lens to provide community members with the knowledge to reduce HIV transmission risk.
Some of our programs include: One Voice (a group for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth to build community and have a safe space to discuss sexual health and queer experience), Get (In)Formation (a group for young racialized women and non-binary folks to have a safe space to discuss sexual health and intersectionality), Safe Spaces ( a 6 week mental health and communication capacity building program for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth), and Queer Up (a sexual health leadership workshop series for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth the seeks to build leadership skills and provide valuable sexual health information). In collaboration with existing residential programs, we are dedicated to providing direct and on-going therapeutic supervision and care to residents including: basic daily care of residents, such as health care and safety, behaviour management of residents through role modelling, positive reinforcement, utilizing therapeutic relationship and education, group work and individualized plans of care. Our team also provides short term assignments, on call replacements, overnight awake and overnight asleep support shifts.
